We are looking for a part-time Assistant Hospitality Supervisor to work on a rota basis to complement our existing friendly team. This position is on a 6 month fixed term contract.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Hospitality Supervisor and Hospitality and Catering Lead in ensuring a high standard of service and cleanliness as well as providing an attractive and welcoming environment for patients, guests and visitors.
Responding to complaints and suggestions you will be adapt and introduce different methods where appropriate, prioritising and allocating duties. You will participate in staff recruitment, training and annual reviews as required, assisting operationally and, when required, taking a lead role with Burrswood’s functions and events.
Together with previous hospitality and supervisory experience, ideally in a hospital or hotel environment, you will have the ability to work within strict guidelines and provide a high standard of record keeping and undertake relevant and mandatory training. An excellent communicator you will be expected to attend meetings as required. You will ensure the observance of safe working methods and use of equipment, reporting faults in accordance with our Health and Safety Policy, and in accordance with any other statutory requirements.
Salary £9.80 per hour
Hours of work 24.5 per week working Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday plus Bank Holidays on a rota basis
