We are running this series of workshops to tackle some of the main issues surrounding anxiety and depression in an accessible and manageable format. It is structured in such a way that to gain the most benefit from the course we advise that people attend all 6 sessions.
These group workshops are delivered by a qualified therapist and follow evidence-based interventions using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to help manage Anxiety and Depression.
- Session One – What is CBT and Self Care?
- Session Two – Depression and Sleep.
- Session Three – Anxiety and Stress.
- Session Four – Thought Management
- Session Five –Worry, Problem Solving.
- Session Six – Assertiveness and Future Planning
£250 per person for all 6 sessions
This is a psycho-educational course aimed at providing education around the management of anxiety and depression, not a therapy group. Therefore people are able to attend if they are already receiving therapy. The course is based on NICE guidelines for treating Anxiety and Depression.

"This course was both interesting and informative. I learnt strategies for coping with negative thoughts and liked the mix between practical activities, teaching about anxiety, stress, depression and sleep problems and also learning through open discussion. All comments were valued and everyone felt at ease and supported. The homework tasks helped to reinforce what we had learned during the sessions. The cognitive behaviour techniques have enabled me to feel much more positive about trying to overcome my anxiety. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is keen to learn more about coping with depression or anxiety."
