My thanks to the physio team as I know I recovered more rapidly from my knee replacement under their care and expertise.

We are putting together our programme of fundraising events for the autumn - see link but more to be confirmed http://t.co/gN9RGhK7Q0

our prayer diary

Our prayer diary, published four times a year, is available below or in a printable format at the bottom of this page.

Our Senior Chaplain writes:

Greetings from a Burrswood!

Our prayer diary may look a little thin sometimes, especially at the moment when we are adjusting to many changes, but that certainly doesn’t mean that we are idle or that we need your prayer any the less. Prayer is the most important energy of Burrswood and without it we should just be another private hospital or guest house. So for those days when we have not asked your prayer for any particular event or meeting, may I please ask you to remember our teams and their vital work here? Perhaps a list might help.

Executive team led by John Ashelford
The Care Team – doctors led by Paul Worthley, nurses led by Suzanne Owen, physiotherapists led by Sue Pople, counsellors led by Steve
Talmage, chaplains led by Christine Garrard.
The Hospitality Team led by Janice Spratt
The Estates Team led by Graham Anderson
The Fundraising Team led by Helen Winning
The Finance Team led by James Archer
The Human Resources Team led by Carolyn Bruce
Our many volunteers in all the teams

Every member of every team is vital to all our work and we do our best to be truly united and together in all we are and do – quite an achievement in an organisation with so many parts to it. We have recently welcomed a significant number of new members of staff here and are benefitting from fresh eyes and fresh approach, which is so good for Burrswood as we seek to live out our purpose in a way that is right for today and tomorrow while being true to God’s first call upon us.

So there is much to be thankful for and much to pray about. Thank you so much for your vital, prayerful work that we know contributes so much to all that is Burrswood.
