At Burrswood we seek God’s healing though Christian ministry and prayer, medical excellence and professional counselling, as we care for every aspect of each person’s wellbeing, whether spiritual, medical or emotional.  Stillness and beauty provide space for the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in every area of need.  We are committed to working within the mystery of suffering and healing.  We aim to keep the love of Christ at the heart of care, and to be a sign of the Kingdom of God in a hurting world.

In addition to our resident Anglican chaplains, ministry is offered through our Catholic and Free Church chaplains and other trained and skilled voluntary staff drawn from our community and local churches. We offer time, prayer and sacrament, always aware that we are only channels for the healing love and power of Jesus Christ. We respect the freedom of all our patients and guests to accept or decline Chaplaincy care and welcome people of all faiths and none, never imposing our faith on those who come.
