what is 'access to care'

Access to Care Fund

The Access to Care Fund is in place to provide grants to those of limited means who need treatment and care at Burrswood.

The fund is reliant on generous donations.  Grants are limited to the amount donated to the Fund and to a maximum of 60% of the actual cost of care. Individual grants are normally awarded for a maximum inpatient stay of 14 days and a course of counselling or physiotherapy outpatient sessions in a calendar year.

Our vision is that from 2020 we will be able to offer treatment and care in Burrswood Hospital for all those who we are medically well placed to help, irrespective of their ability to contribute towards the cost of clinical care.
