Burrswood Christian Hospital is a registered charity and an independent non-surgical hospital registered with the Care Quality Commission.
It provides in-patient medical and nursing care, with integrated input from counsellors, physiotherapists, chaplains and support staff.
Many who come are temporarily too sick to remain at home but do not require the intensive monitoring or intervention of a mainstream acute hospital.
Patients appreciate the comfort of individual rooms, most of which are en-suite, and all of which are individually decorated and equipped with television, telephone and emergency nurse-call system. Overhead tracking hoists enable those with substantial physical disabilities to be cared for safely.
Our Therapy Suite comprising hydrotherapy pool, physiotherapy suite, counselling and consultation rooms are all equipped to a high standard.

Our patients are covered by various insurers and we have a partnership agreement with BUPA, and are recognised by AXA PPP, for the provision of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.
