Massage
We also offer a range of holistic massages. These include a full body massage; back, hands and arm; lower legs and feet; and arms and hands. The massages range in time from 30 minutes to 75 minutes.
Inpatients
As an integral part of the inter-disciplinary care team, physiotherapists work closely with those patients requiring their input. An initial assessment is carried out following admission after which regime of treatment and exercise is provided for patients who we encourage to be closely involved in their care plans.
Outpatients
We provide physio and hydrotherapy for outpatients requiring treatment for a range of conditions from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injuries. For those who do not require intensive one-to-one hydrotherapy we have introduced group sessions based on a regime of pool exercises
Costs (Outpatients - 1st April 2008 to 31st March 2009):
- Physiotherapy £37.50; 30 minute session
- Physiotherapy Assessment £56.00; 45 minute session (standard first appointment)
- Hydrotherapy (1:1 or 1:2 patients) £37.50; 30 minute session
- Hydrotherapy Assessment £56.00; 45 minute session (standard first appointment)
- Remedial - Standard (static exercises) £8.50; 30 minute session
- Remedial - Active (inc swimming) £10.00; 30 minute session
- Remedial - Flexible (need assistance, physiotherapist in pool) £10.50; 30 minute session
- Massage - Holistic, full body(first appointment) £37.50; 75 minute session
- Massage - Holistic, full body £30.00; 60 minute session
- Massage - Holistic, back, arms & hands (first appointment) £30.00; 60 minute session
- Massage - Holistic, back, arms & hands £22.50; 45 minute session
- Massage - Holistic, back (first appointment) £22.50; 45 minute session
- Massage - Holistic, back £15.00; 30 minute session
- Massage - Lower leg, incl. feet (first appointment) £22.50; 45 minute session
- Massage - Lower leg, incl. feet £15.00; 30 minute session
- Massage - Upper & lower arm, incl. hands (first appointment) £22.50; 45 minute session
