Burrswood operates a charming Guest House in the style of a small country hotel providing Bed & Breakfast and full-board accommodation with capacity for 16 guests. Relatives, carers, walkers, visitors and those seeking a quiet retreat in a beautiful place enjoy staying here.

A home in the country

Chapel House feels like a large country house in its own right. Loving attention has been given to every detail - from the polished brass to the antique furniture. Originally built as the private family home for Burrswood's founder, the late Dorothy Kerin and her nine adopted children. This splendid house nestles at the end of the terrace and has a really peaceful ambience.

Winter discount of 25% for stays of 2 nights or more in Chapel House between 1st November 2008 and 28th February 2009 (excluding Christmas).

Prices include En-suite facilities.

There are single, double or twin, en-suite rooms available, each individually decorated, with direct dial telephone and TV. There is also an elegant drawing room available for the guest to use as well as a chapel for private prayer.

Guests are welcome to walk in the grounds and take part in the daily services in the Church of Christ the Healer. Bocky's Kitchen serves delicious homemade lunches and teas. You can also visit the bookshop and the gift shop.

Holidays

Whether you want to sit back and relax in the beautiful surroundings or to explore the many local delights, Chapel House is an excellent base for a holiday. Groombridge Place, Sissinghurst Gardens, Chartwell, Penshurst Place and Hever Castle are all nearby. For the even more energetic, we have an all-weather tennis court and croquet lawn. Both the Sussex Border Path and the Wealdway Path cross the estate, making Burrswood the ideal stop-over or base for a walking holiday. Packed lunches can be prepared for your excursions.
