Burrswood is administered by a charitable trust (Registered Charity No. 1095940) and operates as a company, registered in England and Wales, limited by guarantee (No. 4562803).

 Our Mission is

• to deliver high quality interdisciplinary care to patients with a range of conditions through the marriage of medicine and Christian ministry
• to promote the knowledge and provision of such care by encouragement, example, action and support
• to extend Christian hospitality to all who come to Burrswood
• to teach, preach and heal in the name of Jesus Christ
• to act as a resource to others wishing to develop the Christian healing ministry.

Burrswood’s Executive Management Team and the rest of our organisational structure can be downloaded below or click here. This team is authorised by the Trustees to manage and be accountable for the wellbeing of the Trust, under the leadership of the Chief Executive. It reports and makes recommendations to the Trustee Board, and members of the Executive are expected to be present at Trustee meetings.

While the Executive takes overall responsibility for all matters, the purpose of the group is to focus on strategic issues concerning business planning, policy, finance, human resources, marketing/fundraising, governance and legal requirements, while delegating such matters as are appropriate for day to day clinical and operational matters.

The Executive endeavours to reach unity in all decisions, but recognises the authority of the Chief Executive Officer, Dr Gareth Tuckwell, in all matters.
