Matron (M/F)
Grade H - Full time 38.5 hours
Due to internal promotion of the current post holder, we are seeking to appoint a Matron to provide clinical, managerial and professional leadership of the nursing team within this busy hospital. The post is supernumerary but the post holder will be expected to spend a significant amount of time on the clinical floor, providing leadership to the nurses and an interface with the patients.
Ideally you will have:
- A degree (or higher) qualification in nursing
- Five years post registration experience, (two years at a senior level)
- Excellent clinical, interpersonal, administrative and management skills
- Experience in audit, complaint management, recruitment processes and change management
- Teaching and facilitation skills.
Benefits include 5 weeks paid holiday, rising to 6 weeks after 5 years.

Estate Administrator
Part-time (27 hours per week)
A well organised and flexible person is required to provide an efficient and supportive administrative and secretarial service primarily to the Facilities Manager and also to the Development Project Manager. Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and database packages is essential.
Hours of work: Monday and Friday 9.00am to 3.30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.00am to 2.30pm with a willingness to increase hours during holiday and sickness absence.
Registered Nurses and Care Assistants
Full-time, part-time, twilight (CA only) and bank staff. Opportunities include:
- Development of clinical, professional and management nursing skills
- A variety of clinical experience, including palliative and terminal care, respite care, step down medical and surgical care and intensive counselling.
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary care team, which includes doctors, counsellors, physiotherapists and chaplains
